Made History!!

This past 2012 season was an amazing one! The Clearfield High School Girl's Soccer Team made History! Here is a little recap from the season:

- 2nd place in Region 6 (one of the hardest Regions in the State, had 3 teams make it to the Quaterfinals)
- State Quaterfinalist (Top 8 in the State)
- 9-7-1 Record

1st Cuts

Hey Ladies!

I just want to say awesome job today ladies! It was hard, and you all pushed through it! We had a lot of great talent show up this year, but unfortunately we can't take all of you.

TRY-OUTS

Hey Ladies!

Well, try-outs are right around the corner, crazzyy! I hope all of you are as excited to get started as I am.

Here are the dates for try-outs (at Barlow Park):

Monday, July 30th 
1st session: 9:00-11:00am
2nd session: 3:00-5:00pm
Tuesday, July 31st
1st session: 9:00-11:00am
2nd session: 3:00-5:00pm

These are the forms that ALL of you need to bring to turn in, to be able to try-out:
* Physical Form A or B
* Try-out Checklist Form signed
* Sportsmanship Form signed
* 9th grade form signed (only for 9th graders)


I attached all of the forms under Important Information to the left. PLEASE make sure you bring all of those forms to try-outs the first day or you will not be able to try-out!

We will do 2 cuts. We will post the girls #'s who made the first cut, Monday night before 8:30pm, here on the website. Then we will post the final team members #'s, Tuesday night before 8:30pm.

Please arrive 20-30 minutes early to try-outs to sign in, turn forms in, and get a number.

What to bring:
* Water
* Soccer Ball
* Cleats, Shin guards
* All forms needed to try-out

Team Camp Update

Team Camp this past week was great! The girls played their hearts out! They pretty much almost played an entire season in one week. Way to go ladies! There will be NO conditioing this week, due to giving the girls a chance to recover. We will pick back up Monday, July 9th at 8:30am.

4-1 Win against Stansbury (goals: Brinley 2, Kalliann, Aubrey)
0-1 Loss against Brighton
1-0 Win against East (goals: Afton) (shutout: Mckenna)

Day 2:
0-2 Loss against Jordan
1-1 Tie against Jordan (goals: Brinley)
4-1 Win against Woods Cross (goals: Hannah, Amaris, Taylor R. 2)

Day 3:

2-4 Loss against Brighton (goals: Afton 2)

Day 4:

We played some very good teams, even mulitple times, and did very well! So be very proud of yourselves ladies! Can't wait for the season!

Reminder!

Hey Ladies!

Just a reminder that there will be NO conditioning this week (6/25-6/29) due to our Team Camp at the U of U. Spread the word so that nobody shows up this week. If you are going to camp, then I will see you tomorrow at 1:00pm! If you are not going to camp, then I will see you next Monday, July 2nd at 8:30am!

Also, CAMP Training Program starts tomorrow (6/25) as well. For those of you that were interesed, the information and forms are on this site under Important Information. Bring your money the first day. It is a GREAT oppurtunity that I hope a lot of you take advantage of. Let me know if you have any questions.

Field Change!

Hey Ladies!

So today we found out that Fisher Park is closed all summer, they don't want anyone on their fields. So we have to find another place for our summer conditioning. For the rest of summer, starting tomorrow, we will be at BARLOW PARK. That is where our practices and games are as well. Please spread the word as fast as you can so nobody shows up at Fisher Park tomorrow.

This week has been great so far with the turn out and effort given at conditioning! You girls are pushing yourselves and each other, and I LOVE it!! :)

TEAM CAMP!

Hey ladies!

We got 35 girls for the U of U camp! Which is great! It is going to be such a fun and great experience for you guys who can go!

This next part only applies to those who have signed up for camp and have talked with me!

What I need from you guys now is to pay $65 to the office at Clearfield ASAP! You need to do this to secure your spot by June 6th. But please don't wait until last minute, do this as soon as you can! Write checks out to Clearfield High School and be sure to tell them what you are paying for when you go in.

Also, PLEASE text or email me right after you pay so that I can check you off so you are good to go!

I also would like for you to email/text me the specific posistion you play, so that we can work on putting the teams together.

Important Information!

Thanks to everyone that came to the meeting this week! It was so nice to meet some of you and your parents! I can not wait to finally get started! I hope you all are as excited as I am! I can tell this is going to be a VERY successful year!

I posted all the information that was passed out at the meeting in links on the left of this page. If you have any questions or can't access them from the website, contact me and I will email you the papers.

As far as Team Camp, we have 34 currently signed up. We can fill 2 more spots. So ask around to see if anyone else would like to go. Next Tuesday, May 29th, is the deadline to RSVP for camp. I will be sending a email out around that time, to let everyone know the exact cost for camp. June 6th, will be the deadline for when money is due. You will have to write checks out to Clearfield High School and turn them into the school office. I will send reminders out to everyone to get the money in. If you do not pay by June 6th, then you will not be able to go. So PLEASE make sure you get your money in.

Player / Parent Meeting!

Hi Ladies!!

We will be having a meeting for all players interested in trying out for Clearfield Soccer Tuesday May 22nd @ 3:30pm at the cafeteria at CHS. We would like parents there as well.

We will be giving all of you a packet with lots of information regarding:
- Try-outs
- Rules and expectations
- Summer conditioning
- Fundraising
- Summer Team Camp
- And lots more!!

So please plan to attend Tuesday May 22nd at 3:30pm so you don't miss out on this important information!!

Also, we will be participating in the High School Team Camp at the University of Utah, June 25-29. You guys will be getting awesome training/conditioning, and best of all, games against other high schools!! It is a great opportunity for us to participate in to gear up for our best season yet!! So mark those dates in your calendar.

The team camp costs: $1300 per team and $700 for an additional team. So we will divide the amount by however many girls we get to come. So ladies, start saving/earning your money so you can come!!

I'm excited to meet and see everyone Tuesday, May 22nd at 3:30pm!

New Coach!

Hey Ladies!!

It was really fun meeting some of you last Friday! I hope you are all as excited for this upcoming season as I am! I have heard great things about all of you and have BIG expectations! I have a lot of exciting things planned and can not wait to get started! We will be having another meeting in May sometime, so stay tuned for when that is.
