Try-Out Information

Hey Ladies!

So try-outs are right around the corner! Here is some information:

Try-outs: Monday, August 5th

1st session: 9:00-11:00am

2nd session: 2:00-4:00pm

• Be sure you show up at least 20 minutes early so you can sign-up and get your number in time.
• Bring cleats, shin guards, WATER!, and try-out form.

We will have 1st cuts after the 2nd session on the 1st day. We will post them to the website by 8:00pm Monday night. Final team will be announced Tuesday evening, with Wednesday being the 1st practice. 

You have to have the TRY-OUT FORM filled out and turned in, before you can try-out. The form is under "Important Information" in the left column. All the other forms need to be done before the 1st game. So if you want to wait on the others to be sure you make the team first, that is ok. But just keep in mind, the 9th grade forms take time to get completed.

Try-Out Forms!

Hey Ladies!

All the forms that need to be signed and ready to go in order for you to try-out are listed over in the left column.

Forms:

• Sportsmanship form
• Transportation form
• Try-out check list form
• Physical completed (either Form A or Form B)
• Form A: for those that have NEVER had a physical for Clearfield HS
• Form B: for those that have already had a physical for Clearfield HS
• 9th grade Participation Form (only for 9th graders)

Please be sure to get all these forms completed and ready to go for try-outs. Especially any 9th graders, be sure to get on top of this ASAP, cause the 9th grade form requires administration signatures.

TEAM CAMP RECAP

Team Camp was this past week and it was definitely a success! The girls had an amazing week, with GREAT results!

Monday:
Clearfield vs. Cyrpus 12-0 WIN
Clearfield vs. Skyline 1-1 TIE

Tuesday:
Clearfield vs. Skyline 1-2 LOSS (only loss of the week)
Clearfield vs. Maple Mountain 2-2 TIE

Wednesday:
Clearfield vs. Brighton 2-2 TIE
Clearfield vs. Murray 3-1 WIN

Thursday:
Clearfield vs. Brighton 1-0 WIN
Clearfield vs. Highland 1-1 TIE

Friday:
Clearfield vs. East 1-0 WIN
Clearfield vs. East 2-2 TIE

We only had one loss out of 10 games! We were very impressed with the talent we had this past week! It just means that this fall is going to be a great one! We can not wait to get started, we have big expectations!

Congrats again on a fantastic week! Enjoy the 4th of July week off! We will see everyone again the week of the 8th!

Conditioning!

Hey ladies!

So  tomorrow is the start of the first day of conditioning! Wahoo! It will be at 9:00-10:00am on the Field Turf.

Be sure to check the website OFTEN in case of an emergency field change or anything. 

They are still doing some construction, so to enter the field, you need to go around the main gym, in between the tennis courts, and there is a gate there that will be open. Hope to see you all there tomorrow morning!

Hey Ladies!

Thank you to everyone that came to the meeting yesterday. We had a GREAT turnout! We are super excited for this years season. Looks like we have a lot of great talent coming in.

I attached all of the information that was passed out from the camp, under the Important Information Tab to the left. Let me know if you have any questions.

Remember that you need to RSVP for the team camp by tomorrow, June 1st.

Made History!!

This past 2012 season was an amazing one! The Clearfield High School Girl's Soccer Team made History! Here is a little recap from the season:

- 2nd place in Region 6 (one of the hardest Regions in the State, had 3 teams make it to the Quaterfinals)
- State Quaterfinalist (Top 8 in the State)
- 9-7-1 Record
