Summer Conditioning!

Hey Ladies!

Just a reminder that summer conditioning starts this coming Monday, June 2nd! It will be from 9:00-10:00am on the field turf. Remember to bring cleats, running shoes, and water. And of course your smiling faces :)

For June, Conditioning is on M, W, TH at 9:00-10:00am on the field turf. 

Also, if you are planning on doing conditioning in July with CAMP: Building Better Athletes and have not registered for training in July, be sure to do that asap! Remember, we will NOT be offering conditioning in July, that is why we are encouraging CAMP training!

Important Information

It was great seeing soo many people at our meeting on Tuesday! We are super excited for this coming fall, there is so much great talent out there! It will be a GREAT year! Upcoming Meeting!

Please don't forget about our upcoming meeting this Tuesday, May 20th at 3:30pm at CHS Cafeteria. It is very important to be at this meeting for anyone interested in trying out for girls soccer this fall. We will be going over ALL information for this summer and fall. This is for all parents and girls! Please spread the word. Can't wait to see you all there! :)

Training's Update!

Here is the schedule for trainings for the remainder of the year:

Mondays:
3:15pm at Barlow Park

Wednesdays:
3:15pm at Barlow Park

We have had great showings so far! Rachel and some of the other girls have done a GREAT job running them so far. I have had a blast watching the girls leadership skills coming out :) Please encourage anyone wanting to try-out to come to these trainings. And any returners, please do your best to make it to these as well. I promise it will pay off come season time...which is right around the corner! Every little thing we work harder at, puts us that much closer to Rio Tinto than other schools. Keep that in mind!

Upcoming Pracitces

Hey ladies!

 

Coming up after Spring Break, we will be holding practices on Mondays and Wednesdays after school. The first one will be Wednesday, April 2nd.

 

On Mondays, they will be held in the small gym at CHS starting at 2:45pm. It will be indoor, so bring indoor shoes. On Wednesdays, they will be held at Barlow Park starting at 3:15pm. Mondays may be harder for the freshmen to make since school gets out later, that is why Wednesdays will be held at a later time so you guys can make it. If any times or places change, a mass text will be sent out.

 

The Penner's have worked hard to put this together for you guys. So please do your best to make it to what you can. I will also be going to the ones I can make as well. The goal is to build better chemistry with possession. If we can get a head start before season, it'll just make us that more successful! The season will be here before we know it! So PLEASE be sure you are doing everything you can to make yourself better! This is the year! You should have Rio Tinto in the back of your mind...we can do this!

All Area!

We just have award after award after award this season! It sure just shows how amazing this last season was.

Recently, the Standard Examiner came out with the All Area for Girls Soccer, and of course we had a TON of girls make it! Here is the list below:

All-State!

Let the awards just keep coming!!

All-State for the Deseret News has come out and we had 4 girls on it! So exciting! All of these girls have worked so hard this season and it shows by some of our girls getting recognized. It is hard to get recognized when your team does not do well, so this shows just how well our team did this year. Be so proud ladies!
